		Therapy Works of Wilmington, LLC, is a family focused practice with offices in both Elizabethtown, NC, and Wilmington, NC. The practice is composed of a team of energetic and talented speech pathologists. We provide evaluation and treatment of infants, children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment focuses on a number of issues including speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing deficits. Our patients are not only treated while in Bladen County Hospital, but also in one of our outpatient clinics, their school, daycare, or even in their own home. The staff is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners and the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Together we are committed to the rehabilitation and education ofour patients and their families. Amy Nolan is the owner/director of Therapy Works of Wilmington, LLC. Amy grew up in Roanoke, Virginia. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her graduate work at the University of Wyoming. Amy has extensive experience working with children with special needs and their families to develop a custom therapy program. She also works with acute patients to begin rehabilitation of both communication and swallowing dysfunction. Amy has received training for the retraining of the neuromuscular function of dysphagia patients. Amy has always been known as the therapist who will go the extra mile for anyone. She loves children and even has 2 boys of her own!
